Announcement: Summer Festival at the Künstler:innenhäuser Worpswede
On June 28, 2025, starting at 3 PM, we warmly invite you to the lawn of the Künstler:innenhäuser Worpswede!
Together, we will celebrate the official certification of the new town partnership between Worpswede and Olevano Romano – two artist colonies rich in tradition, which today are active centers for the promotion of contemporary art.
Our guests will include Mayor Umberto Quaresima and a delegation from Olevano, as well as Dr. Julia Draganović, Director of Villa Massimo in Rome, who is supporting the partnership, and Thomas Höhne from her team.
Look forward to a summer cultural festival featuring experimental artistic contributions – from live music, DJ sets, and performances to readings and exhibitions in the studios, plus a Paula Art School booth for our younger visitors. There will also be culinary treats and a presentation of the "Residency of the Future" project.
This partnership marks the beginning of a new space for international exchange – from art in rural areas to issues of ecology and sustainable production.
We look forward to welcoming you! Your Künstler:innenhäuser Worpswede
