Call for applications for four short scholarships in Worpswede 2025
For the fifth time in a row, the Berufsverband Bildender Künstler:innen Bremen (BBK), in co-operation with the Künstlerhäuser Worpswede e.V. four short residencies in the Martin Kausche studios in Worpswede. The residencies are intended for professional artists from Bremen who wish to come to Worpswede in April 2025 or October 2025 to concentrate on their work in the immediate vicinity of Bremen. The specific dates are:
1st slot: 2x3 weeks from 23.03. - 13.04.2025 2nd slot: 2x2 weeks from 10.10 - 26.10.2025 (autumn holidays)
Artists of all ages from Bremen and the surrounding area (also with child/children or partners) can apply partners) with a brief outline of their work project and proof of their professionalism (artistic CV). The decision will be made by a three-member jury yet to be appointed. The scholarship includes the use of a studio including ancillary costs for two or three weeks and a financial grant of 500,- € or 600,- € for the longer stay. Please send digital application documents (no larger than 6 MB) stating at least one of the above-mentioned time slots to above-mentioned time slots to office@bbk-bremen.de with the subject ‘Worpswede 2025’.
